Civic eg O-ring water pipe installation
I’ve got a leak from the water pipe that connects the thermostat housing to the water pump. Specifically behind the water pump, that’s how I know it’s from the pipe.
I’ve bought the necessary o-ring that is need. Does anyone know how to install the o-ring? From what I have gathered, I need to pull out the old pipe and put in the new o-ring. Or do I add some sort of sealant to the ring?

not an expert on this engine but normally there's a bolt that holds the pipe to the block, obviously you need the thermostat housing off, you don't use any sealant whatsoever
