2000 Civic Seatbelts question
I have a 2000 Civic coupe EX. On the passenger side's seatbelt if I pull it all the way out it it will retract with a clicking sound and and I can't pull it out until it's retracted all the way. But on the driver's side it won't do that. Why is it that the driver's side seatbelt won't lock like the passenger side?
that clicking lock thing is for car seats. When putting in a car seat, you pull the belt all the way out to make it do that, that way when you pull the belt tight through the seat, it stays that tight. So, your drives seat obviously wont need that
I see..... would it be possible to put a locking mechanism like that on the driver's side? I like the feeling of being held into the seat (a 5 point harness isn't road legal) and it keeps me from slouching in the seat (really bad for my back).
