hello, i have to engines right now and im trying to decide what motor to put into my ek coupe

I have a CIVIC type R with lsd tranny, and a gsr with gsr tranny

what will be faster in my car.. what should i put in?

 

I had allot of fun with my 6b motor. But got tired of no torque. Put the head on the gsr block and use the R trans. Compression will be a little low but thats gonna be your quickest setup. If no mixing, then displacement >.

 

my vote is the GSR with the CTR trans.

perhaps swap the CTR cams into the GSR for a little power bump... then sell the CTR and GSR trans...

More oem goodies with the b16b. I say ctr swap and build a b20 block on the side, then swap in the future. Isnt the b16b less $ than the gsr swap?

 

I wouldnt think so if its from an importer. GSR will give displacement and save a few bucks that could be used for upgrades.
