Hoping i could get a little more info so i dont end up doing the wrong thing and wasting money.. About a week ago i noticed a tapping noise when i turned on my ac, kind of similar to the type of noise when you put a playing card up against a bicycle spoke and go for a ride. Someone at goodyear said id have to change the whole compressor, but when i spoke with acura they said it might possibly be the clutch, i havent done a diagnostic check with them yet, hopefully i dont need to? but i was wonderiing if anyone had the same problem, and what they did to fix it. the ac still is as cold as ever and i am due for a belt change.. but the noise isnt coming from the belt.. any help would be much appreciated

 

not even an hour after posting this, it stopped blowing cold air, and there is no response from the compressor FML!!

 

So can you see the clutch activating at all? Or nothing?
