Has anyone experienced a problem with their CD's freezing up on their Accord? When I drive at highway speed the disk will stop playing maybe 3 or 4 tracks into the disk. Doesn't happen often when driving at city speed. Never repeats for the honda tech when I have brought in for service. The disk is usuall very warm when I eject. I am thinking it is something related to heat from the engine....very frustrating!!

 

Did you hit something that would have caused a jolt?

My friend seized my accords engine when she drove onto a lamp post base (don't ask), and the minor jolt (which actually ripped off my oil pan, the idiot kept driving, and my engine seized-- talk about bad day) caused the CD player to act OD retarded all the time. Is it throwing any errors? Mechanical error or anything?

How many miles are on your car? If it's under warranty take it in.

Not sure if still on warranty, purchsed extended when I bought the care. The service departhment says to bring in when it occurs but it's more trouble then that is worth....

Have the same problem with my CD player. Only happens when i have the heat on though or if the car has been in the sun for a while.
