what brand of after market racing seats would you recommend to put into a 91 civic hatchback? and can i use stock seat mount brackets?

 

Depends how much you wanna spend. I spent 700 for one bride seat. Looks good feels fantastic and safe. I used my own brackets.

 

You can use the stock brackets. Just take em off the stock seat and drill a new hole(s) if needed so they bolt onto the new seat then they should just slide on.

I know on the crx that the stock rails and seat are not flat. It has a couple corners that are almost 1/2" to 1" off in height so you need spacers to use them properly. You can also redrill the rails within an inch or so, but if the width is off you need additional brackets or to drill the seat. I have the passenger sparco seat on stock rails and there is not much headroom. Better to buy aftermarket rails that you can attach to the floor, especially if you are tall.

 

thanks for the advice.... what brand do you recommend that's like 300-400 for a seat just the seats and/or where would be a good place to look besides eBay?
