Anyone want to enlighten me on seat sliders..
Ive never really payed much attention to detail to my seats and seat sliders, but am going to be putting my interior in the shop for a fresh coat soon. So I just started looking around and found myself to be interested in some low(er) profile seat sliders simply for the fact Id like to sit lower than I do now.
But ive got a couple of questions:
First, im specifically interested in the Vision one tough seat sliders that JHPUSA sells:
http://www.jhpusa.com/catalog/...d=955
1. Can I use these rails on stock Civic seats? (I have jdm SiR-S seats) or is the point of attachment completely different of these rails vs stock rails?
2. If I am able to use these Vision rails, are there any common problems like seat lock position and being able to face forward (not end up being cocked to one side a bit)?
Thx-

I can only speak of personal experience. My Corbeaus I put in have bracket/slider attachement point under the seat. My stock Civic seats basically had the frame of the seat and the sliders as one peice. You can't just take them off.
There was a how to thread of someone disassemling civc seats and swapping parts into S2000 seats for a direct bolt in.

On the bottom of the Recaro seat, there are 6 holes (3 on each side) that allows these brackets to be bolted on. Stock seats' brackets bolt to the bottom of the slider on one side and to the side of the seat pan on the other.
