Need mini me help
ok i am sorry for asking my question over but really really confused n dont no anything bout this website just joined but any way here it goes i have a 00 honda civic ex the d16y8 blew so it was supposed to be swapped with a d15b7 (kept stock trans) been looking to mini me but am running into problems 1) looked at cylinder head stamp it said p2j-3 96 (cant find anyone else with that exact stamping) 2) i have the one from b7 and y8 the one installed now says p2p IPT-5 i have i 5 speed both iac is 3 wire for sumreason but still runs great other intake manifold says p2j-j6 and my ecu is p2p a12 wahts going on with this
so you still have the d16y8 head and everthing that the y8 came with because what i would do is run p2p ecu y8 head, y8 complete intake manifold, y8 dist. on block you have to pull out the oil jet that is in the mild of the block on intake side in between 2 and 3 cylinders and that is all you should have to do
thank you i appreiciate the help so every thing has been swapped in the im that is out has a extra thing the other im does not have it has a soleonoid to the left with a sensor connected to it where the one that is on it does not i will be p;osting sum pics soon to clarify myself i just wanna be sure i got the right stuff on to give me the most hp i am new to the whole tuning thing

Leave it alone then. A mini me is nothing but a bunch of mixed up parts. If yours is not giving you any issues don't mess with it.

the im on the pizza box is the one i am talking bout wit the extra sensor on the left hand side would the one thats in the car now or the extra i have be better for performance and once again i new to pretty much all this stuff
Neither. It's a D-series. A grocery getter. There's no performance in it from the factory. If the car runs and isn't giving you any problems then leave well enough alone.
or i guess what i am asking is there any other ways on the cheaper side to squeeze any more ponies out of this engine i no i can get headers, spray, boost, power chip electric fan anything else
thanks i know im not the most knolegable if any of you couldnt tell lol but i know i will never be able to make it a fast n furious ride or neck snapper i dnt really gotta lot of $ just a 20yr old guy workin ina factory tryin to live on my own work 40hrs+ a week
Being 20 years old has nothing to do with it. If you don't have money to work on your car and do it right then don't touch it. That's the best advice I can give you.
