Looking to buy the tool. Need to install my bushings and hammering it or trying to hammer it isn't working.

I used a rubber mallet to install my energy trailing arm bushings. Came out fine. Lol

 

Energy bushings are just a slip into old bushing. Really easy to installed, but to actually replace the whole bushing requires pressing out the old and pressing in the new bushing.

Im sure it will be cheaper to just take the trailing arms and get the bushings pressed in then to buy the tool

 

Pfft I got the old one out that way! Took less than 5 mins!! lol

It looks slightly bigger so I guess they need to be pressed in. Old one can be hammered in.

 

press. most shop will have one. or hit harbor freight and buy one.

 

Want at least someone that's done them before, or the tool!

I through the oem trailing arm bushing in the fire pulled it out, let it cool, tapped it with a hammer and poof old bushing gone! Lol

 

lol Taking it out was the easy part! hAHA

Had to use the press! No custom 2 dollar tool. lol Wasn't installing ES bushings.

Installed some hardrace bushings.

 

Brass hammer. I did mine with trailing arms on the car. Both in & out! No ES crap!! Suja1/hard race full bushing kit.
