HELPPP car wont start!!!!!
Hey, i'm new to the forum not sure if post is in correct section but here it goes.
Have a 93 cx hatch with a swap, d16y8. Got the car back in summer 2011. Tried installing system in the car but kept blowing ecu fuse. Gave up & disconnected system, rather have the car running then stupid music. Last week bought a new amp wiring kit with thicker wires connected everything, fine no problems. I deliver pizza part time & while at work car decided at the end of the night not to start. I had driven from monday till friday not a problem, but on my last delivery car made no attempt to start just a "click" sound. Have a 2 month old yellow top so I know dead battery can't be the problem. Boss tried jumping the car, nothing. Push start it & it turns on. Went to autozone to check battery, starter, & alternator. They said battery is good but was reading at high temperature, alternator was good but should consider replacing soon, & the starter was bad, as i assumed. Got a used one as a replacement this morning & installed it. NOTHING, same as previous starter. Checked fuses, they're ok. Don't know what the problem is. When key is in the ON position dash lights up fine, fuel pump primes. Need help don't want to go to a mechanic who charges me $100 to tighten a screw! Thank you in advance.

Ok so i bench tested the starter & it's good. It spins & pops out. The distributor couldnt be the problem could it bc the car isnt cranking. Checking wires from battery to starter next
make sure every things hooked up and getting power. if you can push start it theres a problem with the starter, either bad or not getting power.
Yeah thats what im saying it must be the starter but it powers when i jumped it to the battery. I just measure the voltage on the starter when connected in the car & it wasnt reading anything. I sanded down & cleaned the connection on the starter on the cable from the starter to the battery & its now reading 12.6v but car still wont start or crank!
ok to answer all the questions
1. when i go to start the car the dash lights stay on constantly no dimming or anything.
2. when key is in number 2 (ON II) main relay under dash clicks & fuel pump primes
3. my friend was explaining to me yesterday about a clutch switch & ignition switch dont know info on that he's supposed to come later today to take a look

Ok so my boy took a look at he found the problem. Theres a yellow connection on top of the clutch pedal that broke off. He ghetto rigged it by putting speaker wire into the two connections & now the car starts but i dont need to step on the clutch. I've searched and its coming up as clutch interlock switch. Can anyone confirm this 100%? Will be going to honda tomorrow to buy it just want to make sure im getting the right part.
