Icon2 Where is all the A/C guys at?

I have searched and searched googled and googled!

the car is a 90 civic Si, when i first bought the car (i was 16) the ac didn't work so a friend and i pulled everything out. well now that im 25 and still driving the car i want to put ac back into it. I have bought Everything to do it, the only problem im having is trying to figure out which AC bracket and AC compressor i am going to need???

the engine is a jdm d15b vtec.

i have 2 different AC brackets and AC compressors and neither of them will work on my engine. so if anyone could help me out, it would be awesome! i would love to get ac back into my car before summer time! georgia heat is Killer.

I'm surprised neither bracket fits. Are they both D-series?
On the B-series the brackets are interchangeable, only the compressor needs to match the bracket. I can verify that P72 and PR3 brackets actually fit the same.

I was under the impression that hte d15b is a bolt-in replacement for a d16z6, so u may wanna try a 92-95 ex/si bracket compressor. I also thought that the stock a6 bracket would fit a z6.

Im from Dahlonega BTW lol. Small world huh.

He is right. I just took mine off for a cleaner engine bay on my jdm D15b and it was the same as the z6.

I just changed the A/C Compressor in my '91 Sedan. There are two diff. types of compressors that came w/ the EFs. Post some pics of the A/C hoses and their angles. I found out the hard way and bought both compressors. I have a Sanden compressor for sale. http://hondamarketplace.com/showthread.php?t=3010942 the other you might need is called Matsushita or something like that..
