How many times have you read this one?
So I read through several 98-02 Accord 'no start' threads, and have yet to see a similar issue as my own.
The car:2000 Accord lx 2.3a4 5spd
The problem:No spark, wont start.
How it started: Was moving my car earlier last year to wash it. Started it up, didnt let it warm and started moving it. Stalled it 60 seconds later in reverse like a dope. And then it never ran again....
I started with replacing the cap and rotor: no go
I then changed the coil, even after testing it because one of the resistance readings was out of spec: no go
I was going to throw an ICM at it(or install a new one) but I decided to test for signal first.
I then tested the yellow/grn signal wire to the distributor with an led test probe: no go(no signal to dist.)
So where do I go from here? I figured maybe a crank position sensor. I have a huge Helms manual, and have not yet located the ckp sensor in it yet.
The car also has an MSD Boost Timing Master that I have not disconnected yet.
I appreciate any help I can get. Thank You
