Uhhmmmmm.........

You need some periods in that "sentence", I think.

Anyway, the S1 is a b16 cable tranny.

HTH.

USDM g2 integras also have s1 trannies, but still have regular ls gearing.

Wrong, USDM G2's have YS1 trannys.

All of them, including the gs-r. The gs-r tranny is geared differently, but is still labeled as a YS1.

The 1990-1991 USDM Integras came with a tranny labeled the S1. The only thing it shares with its JDM counterpart is the tranny code. The gearing in it is similar to the later YS1 trannys that came in the 1992-1993 Non-VTEC Integras.

No ****?? THanks guys, I was mistaken. I thought all 90-93 Integras were YS1 trannys.

I was actually considering buying an S1 tranny for my car, how will I know that it is in fact a b16 tranny and not an LS tranny?

Tx,
Adam

Thats not true. A JDM S1 tranny is a b16a Cable tranny. A USDM S1 Cable tranny is a 90-91 Integra RS/LS/GS tranny.

92-93 RS/LS/GS and GSR trannies are YS1

Only way I know of to tell if ask the person you are buying it from.

A clutch for a 92-93 Integra will not fit a 90-91 Integra. They are different.
