I got backed into in a parking lot a few weeks ago and just got the check in the mail today, so im looking for the parts to fix it myself.

looking on bkhonda, they list 3 part numbers for the bumper (typed in vin for the car, hoping to narrow it down didnt work.) and i was hopping someone could tell me the difference between the 3...

Email them your vin and they will be able to tell you which one is the right one for your car.

 

3 bumper to choose from?

 

they said i had to look on the back of the bumper to see if it is an m or z model.... but my PC crashed before i could save the notepad i pasted the convo into, so i guess ill have to get on with them again tomorrow af get them to tell me which is which.... after i pull the bumper off for what seems liek the 100th time =p

I started this thread before i was able to get ahold of someone at the site i was looking at, thats why it was 3 at first...

 

called the local honda stealership.... the guy at the parts counter ended up asking someone.... turns out they are the same part just made in different plants...

This kinna falls into the same topic, so ill ask here instead of starting a new thread...
Can you put a coupe/hatch bumper on the sedans? I keep seeing everyone saying different things. Everything from it bolts right up, no problem, to you have to change fenders, hood and possibly headlights. Can i get some more input on this? i Really like the looks of the coupe bumper better as well as the fogs (the sedan fogs kinna look like an after thought)

 

the bumbers from a coupe/hatch will fit. the fender change being referred to is for a front end conversion im guessing. i.e eg -> ek or vice versa.

 

got a hold of a friend that has a spare coupe bumper laying around (in blue though) so when i get a change ill pop over there and do a test fit just to double check before i order it.

 

pretty sure they don't fit correctly

 

confirmed, does not fit... the finders stick out a good half inch from the bumper... too bad, i really liked the look but im not sinking the money to change the whole front end.

So on to ordering a replacement cover... can someone suggest a good site to order it from, im trying to stretch this insurance check as far as possible and i was hopping to not spend 200+ on the cover
