Default b16a-91 hatch help needed

Sup guys, a buddy and I just dropped a JDM b16 into my 91 hatch dx. I have a question about the wiring, i found a couple things online but i want to make sure the info i have is correct. We're gonna keep the car obd0 for now, so were gonna wire in the resistor box to the original harness that's on the car. The resistor box connector has 8 wires and the engine harness has 12. What is the correct way to get all of these wires together? Straight forward answers guys please. Thanks for the help.
(Car harness- white with red, orange with gray, green with black, two yellow with gray, two yellow with black, one yellow with green, red with gray and one blue with yellow.)

(Resistor harness- red with gray, blue with yellow, black with yellow, light blue with gray, yellow with black, yellow with gray, blue with red, and brown with gray.)

what are you talking about? the resistor box should only have a total of 5 wires going to it (the actual plug has 6 slots).

Resistor box wiring should have 4 black with red stripe wires and one yellow with black stripe wire going into it.

What wiring harness are you using?

Almost right. It's red wire with black stripe.

and your DX harness will not come wired for the resistor box, you have to manually add this in as well as do the rest of the MPFI conversion.

You need to do mpfi swap you cant plug a si harness in and it work. You need to add two injector wires and cut you aux and main injector that's where you get the wires for the box. Injector clips have two wires one for power one for resistor box

You need to buy a harness that matches your car and then modify it.

correct, the only purpose the si harness will serve is for the injector clips, distributor plugs, and resistor box. other than that you dont need it. try n find a dx harness. once yo have that we can walk you through the process. better you have it in front of you, than you try n picture it.

as long as the injectors your using require a resistor box, then yes. it doesnt matter if your obd1, obd2 whatever. what matters is which type of injectors you have. if they are stock obd0 injectors, then yes they need a resistor box
