Default Benson Sleeve Warranty

I am looking into buying a fully built block, Benson sleeves.
The block has the "Benson's" name engraved in it. My question is, how does the warranty work? Who ever owns the block owns the warranty? If I buy the block (its used), and happen to crack a sleeve, will I be able to use the warranty even though I am not the original owner of the block who got it sleeved?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Check it out with them but I would think it would be a good idea to have the receipt(s) in hand for the block or the warranty will probably be useless.

Do they warranty against things of that manor? I'd be surprised if the warranty goes beyond defects in their machining process, not cracked sleeves which normally has more to do with user error.

I read somewhere that Benson warranties their blocks to never drop a sleeve, or crack a sleeve up to 50 PSI of boost.

That would be a stupid warranty considering anybody that doesnt know what there doing can add enough timing to crack a sleeve . Has nothing to do with boost pressure but what ever its there company.

This is why I am really confused on how it works. Lol.
Like you said timing. Or lean/rich, and the tune alone can crack a sleeve.

idk about them cracking sleeves. ive been using one for almost 5 years now, hundreds of hp, 9000 rpm and a fair share of stupid careless mistakes that would have sent stock sleeves through my firewall lol. even scored a piston on the dyno with ptw contact when my fan broke and it got to hot. slapping and all i drove home 40 something miles made it home just fine. benson blocks are very stout products

I doubt you'll crack a sleeve. You'd blow something else out first like a piston .
