Is this 92-95 Civic EX cluster really plug and play in my 95 Civic CX?
So I have a '95 CX hatchback and I would like to either install a tachometer or just get a cluster with a tacho included such as this one: http://losangeles.craigslist.org/wst...787160160.html
Now my question is, will this really just plug right up and function including the tachometer or is there any extra wiring I need to do? Thanks.

Alright I just want to be sure before I pay for something with hopes that it's going to work. The reason why I even bothered to ask is when I had my '96 Mustang and I was replacing the odometer gear (mileage stopped working common problem on these mustangs) there were two connector things (sorry dont know what they're called) one for tacho one for speedo as well as the left and right which were the temp and misc gauges.
Don't worry dood. When you take out your stock cluster you'll see the two large plugs that go into the new cluster. After that, you're gold.
Just make sure to check if any lights are burnt out on the new cluster before you button it all back up. Take the bulbs from your old cluster and replace any toasted ones.

Its all plug and play. The connectors on the back of the cluster are dummy proof. What you can also do is take your speedo out and put it into the cluster with the tach to retain your correct mileage.
Didn't think of that thanks bro I was going to wind back the odo on the cluster or forward it to my current mileage but now i don't have to :p the reason I asked is cause I didn't think there were would be 2 plugs behind MY cluster as there is only a speedo

Also, the redline of an LX cluster (6500RPM) is a closer match to the actual redline of your stock CX engine, vs. the 7200RPM of an EX.
