400whp with 650cc injectors is it possible?
Hello fellow honda-tech and all tuners,
Is it still possible for me to make 400whp with precision 650cc injectors (new penstyle)..?
Here's my set up:
Head
Stock B16 with gsr cams
victor x manifold
omni 70mm throttle body
Block
Gsr block
Cp pistons
K1 rods
Acl bearings
Turbo set up
RLD-Fab ramhorm manifold
PTE 5857 turbine Scover anti surge
3 inch dp, 44mm wastegate
Fuel set up
255 walboro intake pump
Aeromotive fpr
steel braided lines

well if you have 50 psi fuel pressure and your running 100% duty cycle i believe the math says 450 hp is achievable, so imo i would say yes 400 is definately possible and it think that would be a great number for your setup, im currently working on making the jump from 3 to 400 hp, i chose to go with 750s though.
once u get it to the tuner everything will be there right up on the screen, i wouldnt recommened pushing the injectors past 85% duty cycle. but i really dont think you will have to get 400, pay the money for a good tuner and u should be fine. ive seen guys make 350 whp with 450cc injectors on 90% duty cycle, so lots is possible it all comes down to reliability really and what risks you are willing to take.
I want the car to be reliable as possible, I'm goin to turn the car as my daily.. so worst comes to worst if i dont make 400 by 85% duty cycle, then i'll just stick to whatever power it will give me. As long as it last me for good amount of years. I'll be fine.
