Nervous about my new set up, HELP!!
I'm kinda of nervous that my new set up won't make 500HP, any insight would help.
I have the following,
block and head
Dart block bores to 85mm
JE pistons 9.1
eagle rods
acl main and rod race bearings
arp head stud
skunk two springs and retainers
stock gsr valves
s2 manifold
65mm throttle body
some AR cams gears
cosmetic head gasket
aem fuel rail
1000cc injectors
Turbo kit
top mount
percision sc61
38mm wg
3" exhuast system
running crome right now
I plan to run on e85, I sort of nervous i won't make 500hp. IF not i'm gonna super disappoint. Let me know some feedbacks.

i wouldn't be as concerned with your build as i would be your injectors. What do you have delivering fuel to the injectors? I don't think 1000cc will be enough...will be close.

don't run crome, at least on basic one if you plan to run such big injectors. I don't have much luck with big injectors and basic crome. Also basic crome lacks safety features that you would need. Get rid of s2 manifold and get victorX. Is the block bored already 85mm is kind of pushing it, something happens and don't have alot of room to rebuild. 84mm is perfect. No reason why you shouldn't put down more then 500whp.

500-520 dd whp is lol. talk about wheelspin.
you'll make it with bigger injectors and a smart tuner.
even if you make 450whp you can tell your friends is 500+ at the crank and trust me they wont know the difference

You should be able to hit 500 on pump, maybe look into s300, i run it and love it, it will save you money in not having to buy a boost controller, just the b/c option and a solenoid.
e85 needs a lot more flow, i can't remember why cuz i dnt run e85, but search search search and you will find.
maybe look into a Honda Gen. Head gasket, i've heard some dont like the cometic h/g.
I run stock hg on my 330+hp D16.
Do you have a lsd? you will need one!

He'll probably will end up maxing the fuel pump if he is running a walbro 255lhp. Either get a twin fuel pump from full blown or get a external fuel pump.

Plan on selling that hondata s200, and spend extra 300 and buy s300. S200 is stone age technology. Also if you don't have the manifold yet, try to get 44mm wastegate because you might have some boost control issues in high boost. If you already have it just give it a shot see what happens.

I run E85 unlike most of the people in this thread, there is no reason why you shouldnt be able to make 500whp with the 1000cc's, but to leave you a little extra room in the future I would get 1200's and add a Bosch 044 inline pump, its been proven that you can make 600whp with 1200's and an Aero A1000 on E85.

I made 585whp on E70 on a Dynapack with 1000's and 2 255hp's
Best friend made 595 on E85 same dyno using my 1000cc Injectors with just 1 255hp and stock lines (car turns 144mph spinning through 3rd)
Guy on this forum made slightly over 600whp with 1200's on a D-Jet
Regardless of what dyno is used, I know my car is making more than 500whp at 20psi and I am not out of duty when using E85 at that boost level using 1000cc's............ In theory I should be out of fuel but I am not, I have always wondered if I somehow got a freak set of Injectors from RC......
