Icon2 Timing gear stuck on crank

Any tips/tricks on getting the timing gear off the crank. Mine seems to be stuck on there. I have fought with it for over 2 hours now. Soaked it with penetrating oil, tapped it with a chisel, loosened the oil pump cover and tried to pop it off that way... I cant F***ing get it! What next?

sometimes on h motors the woodruff key gets wedged in the back of the gear .. take a small pry bar place it behind the gear apply light pressure and tap the gear with a hammer ( lightly as not to damage the gear ) you can also tap the end of the crank while applying pressure .. ive had to do this in the past .. just be gentle and dont beat the **** out of it .. let us know how it works out ..

Yeah 2 short pry bars behind it and just wiggle it off.

Learned a neat trick recently, if you have a large socket like one you'd use for axle nuts (32/36mm) just place it on the sprocket, it needs to be deep enough so the crank wont touch it, tap the end of the socket a couple of times with a hammer and it'll free the sprocket.

i think my crank is swedged or ballooned out and i think that is why i cant get my gear off my jdm single cam it is loosely fitting but still tight cuz it can only wiggle just very slightly. I can get it to move about 1/4" with pry bars but stops in the same spot everytime. I've been messing with it for hours and thats my only conclusion......any suggestions??
