Default Clutch problems, need help ASAP!

95 sedan, stock f22b2 with 257k. My gear stick is moving freely, the clutch pedal has tension still so I doubt it's the slave or master cylinder. Possibly my shift linkage broke? Any ideas or has this never happened to anyone before?

when you say it moves freely what exactly do ya mean? in neutral mine wiggles quite a bit. will it not stay in gear?

on my prelude it was way stiffer but my accord is a bit loose. possibly the connection at the bottom of the stick has come done. have someone move the stick around and look in the engine bay to see if the connections at the transmission are moving also

It moves freely as if it wheren't conected to anything, from nuetral to first gear. and no it won't go into gear, but the car turns on fine.

I had someone move the stick around while I looked under the hood and I can see something moving but I'm not 100% sure what it is, I'm too used to the b series engines, hahaha.

I'm gonna look at it more in the morning so expect some updates then. If anyone has any idea what this could be PLEASE help out a fellow accord owner

there are two cables that make up the shift linkage. not exactly sure cause i never had to deal with it but i think one should do vertical movement and one horizontal. make sure they are both connected to the transmission if they are and both move then you have a problem inside the tranny itself which is where my knowledge ends

Is that a sign that my clutch went out? I'd really like to know before I pull the tranny off tomorrow.
