Need Help With Replacing Clutch
So i got my new clutch all bolted on and i am bolting on my transmission now and i cant seem to get the half shaft to pop in i can get everything else flush besides the back side where the half shaft it, It is all still in the car so if anyone had any suggestions please let me know would be greatly appreciated.
So you have everything bolted up fine but the three 14mm bolts that hold the half shaft in place to the block are not lined up? I would try 1) make sure your half shaft is fully seated in the transmission 2) loosen all three 14mm bolts and thread each by hand before tightening any of them 3) If this is not possible then the transmission may be ajar with the block, make sure that the transmission is sitting flush with the engine block all the way around (sometimes those little keys/pins that align the transmission to the block can pose problems like this)
