Default 1 way valve (overheating)

just got a 95 wagon. the previous owner says he did the HG water pump an timing belt. i replaced both rad hoses. radiator looks new, both of my fans come on, Im getting bubbles in my overflow tank when i shut the car off. i also noticed that my hoses collapsed. i was reading through a few old threads about overheating and i kept seeing people post 1 way valve. Apparently if it does not open the coolant will not circulate. I wanted to know if anyone knows where this valve is at or if you have a picture of it so i can replace it thanks.

there talking about the thermostat thats another way of calling it since it only allows coolant one way. hence the name one way valve

ps don't forget to check the radiator cap...

after checking those 2 items and making sure you burped the system of air bubbles,

be ready for the possible bad job on the HG,waterpump, timing belt change...

Bubbles in overflow = HG.
