Best ECU for ITB
ITBs can be very tricky to get right. and the way the engine idols and runs can change everyday with different weather and temperature conditions. to get them to run perfectly it will require you to make constant adjustments. you need somthing that alows you to make these adjustments as well as carry multiple maps on hand. thats why i would go with a complete stand alone like the AEM.

If you are going with a full standalone, I highly recommend ViPEC. The plug-in board is a great option for Hondas since you have a "stock appearing" ECU with a full standalone inside.

I am running a V88 in my Supra and the logic capabilities and datalogging GUI is unmatched in its price range.
In terms of ROM editors, either Hondata, Neptune or eCtune can run ITB's well. Any of these can allow you to use TPS% instead of MAP, which will create a more responsive and easier-to-drive car.
I was reading an old thread where people were saying that Crome had an option to run ITB's on a map base from idle to a certain point where it then switches over to tps base. They said this gave the best of both worlds, of having a consistent map idle and part throttle, while changing to tps for the rest of the map.
My question is, does this feature really benefit over using 100% TPS, and if so then does Hondata and AEM carry this feature?

You could always tap each runner and then run them into a vacuum box. I have been doing that for a few years now on a number of different ITB setups and it works great.
It wasn't my daily but I drove thousands of miles on the street with a vacuum box on 2 different setups, sure it wasn't as smooth as a plenum manifold but it was definitely streetable. It could have been smoother I just decided on a small vacuum box that would easily tuck underneath the throttlebodies.

Crome works but is very temperamental. This year im probably going eCtune
I used a small vacuum log with MAP sensor and a factory kawasaki TPS with crome free and the car idled perfect and drove almost perfect.
