Default B16b timing issue

I am stumped and need a little help. I have set my engine to tdc on crank
And lined up my cam pulleys. Now the engine is a ctr b16b in a eg civic running pct
Ecu and a obd1 distributor. (it is not oem) Now my problem is when I try to time it
The engine will stumble under acelaration. There is only one spot I can set it to on the
Whole range of adjustment on the distributor. that spot is almost advanced all the way.
do you guys think it could be my distributor? Thanks in advance for the help.

Yeah all timing is correct. I just gambled and got a td44 oem distributor
And it runs great now. Thanks for the reply.

Yeah its running great. It had a cheap ebay distributor on the motor when I bought my swap and it was running like crap. So I just got a td44u from a buddy and its cool.
