Hey guys,
I got some JDM ITR 5 lug coming my way ..and im getting the shocks and all that good stuff.. just wanted to know im using integra shocks on my EG right now with Neuspeed Race springs.. love the drop. just wondering if i can take those springs and just pop em on the ITR shocks? for some reason i dont think it will work, everything is interchangable between civic's and integras but for some reason the ITR is in shadows.. what you guys think? or recommend?

 

why dont you use stock itr shocks/springs?

and you dont wanna put the old springs on itr shocks~ if you want springs for itr shock~ get ones that are made for itr shocks

 

i cant use ITR shocks springs because i wont have a drop, im trying to keep my drop is what im saying. and i was wondering if i can use the neuspeed race springs on the ITR shocks since i just got them 2 weeks ago!

it fits, but don't expect the shocks to perform well with Neuspeed race springs.

 

YES it works, been there and done it myself. The ITR shocks are much more capable of damping those neuspeed springs you have!

 

how come no one ever mentions civic springs fitting type R's. for example everyone knows that integra springs are the same as civic springs, so 92-95 civic are interchangeble with 94-00 whatever integra, but nothing is mentioned about fitting type R's in fact its always excluded. so i always figure it had some different shock configuration.

and about the ITR shocks no using those race springs good, well its more of a temp fix until i can afford some koni yellows or something. or better yet a full coilover setup.

 

itr is just a 94+ integra with slightly different rear shock mount and valving.
otherwise springs are still interchangable

 

coo now that sounds way more logical, because it is true! and bigger sway bars, no sunroof ..in the world of honda they dont have to make something the same and yet be so different, they keep most the little things the same, thanks!
