guess there is not straight answer...why in world would you want to do this?? the itr springs/shocks are calibrated for a much heavier car...to think they will perform correctly on your h/b is nieve.

Re: ITR springs and Shocks in EG (mr. skelly)
Ok, seems like alot of people are wondering why someone would do this. I thought the very same thing until I helped my friend with this setup.
He's got an EG hatch. He was running HR race w/ Koni's and didn't mind them. But wanted to get rid of that setup and did so. He was thinking about alot of diff setups he could go with for the winter. Since it's off-season, no point in putting in something good. He was tired of having to go slow of speed bumps and all. He may be getting Zeal B2's for next season. Anyways.....
So he opted for an ITR suspension. ITR springs/shocks/LCA's...just for the time being.
I was wondering about this too. After the installation and stuff. He took it for a spin on his "track" and we followed. DAMN!!! Did the car ever handle good. I got a spin in the car later. I have to say, I was very suprised with the outcome. You don't get a bouncy ride like with HR race w/ Koni's.
PROS: Springs/shocks matched good, alot more forgiving then setup he had before, good dampening.
CONS: Car was RALLY-spec , if you really pushed the car you could tell
I give this setup

damn I do NOT know why there were negative replies in here for you... this is a great setup.
this is an easy swap---> the EG suspension is the 'same' as the 3rd gen integras.
*note, you will need rear Lower Control Arms from an ITR and that is it.
the ITR setup bolts up fine, works great, ride quality is great, spring rates are good, very nice setup for a hatch, especially considering the price of a used set of ITR springs and shocks may be around $100-$300, and LCA's for $80-$100 a pair.
go for it!
I was gonna do this on my EG also (have it on my GSR sedan now), but I splurged on Koni yelllws and GC coilovers for more stiff suspension goodness!

owen is correct. it is the most excellent suspension for a eg. not as low as most would want, but i personally put a hurting on national scca champions with STOCK itr suspension in my eg. awesome awesome stuff. calibrated for a heavier car? makes the ride a little stiffer than the itr big f'n deal. good stuff, i would take the stocl itr spring/shock combo over any cheap coilover with koni's or tokico's in a heartbeat.

since then i have swapped in a harder edge suspension (RG coilovers w/ pillow ***** and 26mm mugen rear bar, but i still say for daily driving/autocross/roadrace, the stock itr combo is tough to beat. but, i don't have as many post as some people, so what do i know.....

Man, there are so many ignorant people here posting BS answers, it's amazing. This is one fo the reason I don't post here as much as I used to.. I 'm tired of correcting others.. ITR spring/shock combo is one of the best ways to go for a street setup & auto-x, more so on a Civic than Integra LS/GSR. The Civic will benefit more than a Teg because it's lighter. The only other thing to do is get ITR LCAs which are bigger & help with added rigidity, reduce overall flexing and help maintain camber settings. The ITR shocks are perfectly matched for the ITR spring rates, why wouldn't you want them is the question..

I said I don't want a title!
Re: ITR springs and Shocks in EG (VTEConly)
Yeah, ignore the first few posts because they are just wrong.
ITR suspension combo will work great on any 92-95 Civic or 94-00 Integra as long as you swap the rear LCAs.
Be warned though...if you autox, swapping the rear LCAs will result in a class that you don't want to be in...either SM or EP. Swapping LCAs *IS NOT* STS legal.
