Default 2010 Honda Civic Transmission

Hi, I have a 2010 Honda Civic that has a problem with a shifting problem. Whenever I press on the gas, the car rev's but does not drive. After a little bit the transmission kicks in really hard into gear and then starts to drive. Same thing happens in reverse. The transmission takes a bit to kick into gear. The gears are basically lagging when they are supposed to shift. When they do shift, it feels like the transmission kicks the whole car. I have already replaced the transmission and the same problem is still there. What is wrong with the car? Anyone else have this problem?

If your fluid level is correct the transmission has some issues, possibly in the transmissions computer.

I would take it to a dealer and have it diagnosed asap, before you do more harm to it.

There is enough transmission fluid. I'm also thinking that it might have something to do with the computer. The transmission is new and should not have problems like this.

when ur car is under warranty u should always take it to them when they will do it for free. the D light flashing is usually a transmission failure sign. its kinda like a misfire from the engine the CEL flashes instead. it may drive, it may not, but its limping for sure. so the trans will be limping for this instance

The car is in a certified transmission shop. Currently, they have not found the exact problem with the car..
