So,my cluster lights went out the other night.I jumped the black and red dimmer wires together and everything was fine.

Tonight on the way home they went out again.The cluster functions fine,just doesn't illuminate.

I've checked every fuse under the dash and under the hood,all is well.I replaced any of them it could be just in case and no change.

What could this possibly be now?I'm a tad lost at the moment.

 

Recheck 10A dash fuse 19.

Do the taillights and parking lights work?

 

Yes they do,everything works as it should other then the fact it will not illuminate.

 

Test the red wire in the dimmer connector for battery voltage to body ground.

Test the black ground wire in the dimmer connector for continuity to body ground.

 

Curious if you fixed this. I'm having the same issue.

I jumped red to black on the dimmer connector and now they come on with my parking lights. Must be the dimmer. I'll leave it as is for now.
