Dash lights don't work...
Ok so I got a quick question here, my dash lights stopped working on my 98 DX (cluster and climate control) but it is not the fuse. I am told it is the dimmer switch and I just have to ground the red wire or something, or replace it. I don't ever use it so I'm just gonna ground the wire.
But what exactly do you do? Cut the red and black wires and connect those together?
Any help is appreciated!

That would do it though, prior to cutting any wires, you might first want to test whether connecting the red and black wires in the dimmer connector with a jumper wire makes the dash lights work.
