there is alot of write ups on this topic but they do not answer my question. i have a obd1 jdm b16 swap in 1997 civic dx. kept my d16y7 wiring harness. made the iacv 2 wire plug, and re pinned the wire on ecu plug. car starts fine. car revs up with obd2a ecu but when i put on p28 with jumper harness.. it runs like crap.. wont even rev up. do i need the ckf by pass trick if im running p28 obd1 to obd2a on jdm b16 motor?? is there any other wiring i need to manually change either on ecu plugs or engine bay harness when using the d16y7 wiring harness, beside vtec wires, knock sensor, iacv ??? any help is greatly appreciated , i would like to get car running asap

 

Does it throw any codes with either ECUs? No CKF needed for P28
