EF ZC motor mount help.
I recently bought a 91 EF that had a not complete ZC engine swap. On the driver side of the engine is where the Motor mount currently is but the teeth of the timing belt rub on the engine mount as it is routed over the tensioner. The engine block has ZC stamped on it. After doing a little research that means it is a JDM ZC? On the front of the engine looks to be a spot a front engine mount could be utilized but not sure exactly what is needed to make this work. Any tips or possible solutions would be appreciated. I go to school in Chicago at UTI during the week and the car sits at home about 2 1/2 hours away from me during the week. I'd love to take some pictures this weekend to help come up with a possible solution.
I dont see how the timing belt would rub the motor mount if it was installed correctly.....even if it wasnt the motor wouldnt be functional. And there is a front motor mount that is right where the motor and tranny connect. All you need is to buy that front mount with the bushing. Unless someone cut off the track where you have to install it, then you gotta wield another one in......or just leave it be.
if your ZC is from the 88-89 JDM Integra, which i suspect is what you have, it will not bolt right into a 2g CRX or 4g Civic - it has the mount on the front side of the block (toward the radiator) and not on the end - the Integra ZC has a serial number beginning with the number '5' and is basically like the 86-89 USDM Integra D16A1 - has 4 valve cover bolts in the middle of the cover and looks like this (valve cover is black from the factory):

there are no holes in the end of the block that are in the correct location for bolting on a ED/EF mount on the driver's side end - that is why your belt is hitting the mount - in order to get the engine in the proper location, you will need to fabricate a mount that bolts onto the front of the block and wraps around the end
