Hey all, I'm interested in buying SS brake lines but I'm not sure which to buy.
Only reason is because I have a DC2 with legend 2 piston front calipers. The current stock rubber integra brake line's are a too short to even flip up the caliper so I was wondering if I do order SS brake lines, would it be smarter to order a front set for legend's and a rear set for a integra?
And does anyone which brand is best to go with? I've heard of stoptech, goodridge, technafit, russell.

id say legend but i really dont know...look at some pics of the connectors and if they are the same order the legend ones. as far as brand get whatever is cheapest thats a real brand.
I went with stoptech lines for no real reason other than the fact that they were stoptech. What ever lines you get, just make sure they are teflon coated. I finished the legend gs caliper deal a couple weeks ago. I ordered lines for a '98 gsr and they work, but I wish they were longer. It would have been easier to work with them if they were a bit longer.
This is very important, if you don't want to have to regularly change them out for fresh ones.
Comptech lines on my car, which are rebranded Goodridge lines, and do not include the teflon coating. After 2 years of daily use, I'm on borrowed time and have a brake line leak waiting to happen.

I have had the StopTech lines on my car for six years. The outer plastic coating is critical to prevent dirt infiltration into the braid, abrasion, and failure.

Well you have to figure when the brake fluid get heated up from constant braking, it makes the rubber more malleable and will stretch the lines causing the brake pedal to be softer.
Glad I looked here and saw the info about the Teflon coating before I ordered a set for my GSR swapped eg6
Also for those who swear by stoptech. Their parent company is Centric. You pay more for the stoptech name when they are of the same quality. Just a little FYI.

I have centric front and rear rotors and stoptech street pads for the rear. They seem to be good quality.
I cant seem to find a front set for the legend calipers.. I was hoping to get a front set for legend calipers and a rear set for integra.
