What the what? That doesn't even make sense. Which plug are you talking about?

Ok...well...for starters you can clean up what you just wrote. That would help a lot.

assuming from the title he is trying to rewire a OBDI distributor to OBDII single plug vs OBDI that uses 2 plugs

Yes, you can remove the 2 plugs from the obd1 harness and use the single obd2 plug. You will need to find the harness-side plug from an obd2 harness.

Learn to search. This thread took me all of 10 seconds to find, there are plenty more like it...

96-98 obd2a has a 10 wire distributor plug

99-00 obd2b has a 8 wire distributor plug

you have a "99" b16? assuming you have a 8 wire diz plug?
and your obd1 engine harness has two plugs

rywire makes distributor jumpers that adapt an obd2 distributor to obd1 engine harness...

http://www.rywire.com/catalog/obd1-t...pter-p-42.html

the one shown ^ here is for 10 pin dizz but call them they will have no problem making and 8pin one for you and at 35$ you can't go wrong!

i ran into the same scenario putting my obd2b d16y8 from my 99 civic ex into my friends 95 civic vx

Other than the z6 manifold obviously, i wanted to use everything stock that was already on y8 including dizz and altenator so i used both rywire diz jumper and altenator jumper
