i am in need to buy a new one of these parts, cause its bent up, but have trouble searching for it online cause i'm not sure what to call it exactly?
its the big black metal piece under the front of the car, bolted up to the chasses, where both of the radius rods connect to, has a hole on left and right if you look towards the front of it and you can see the ends of the radius rods bolted up to it.
i just needed people's opinions on here to see what this part would be called?
like, would it be the "FRONT SUB-FRAME" ?, "FRONT CROSS MEMBER" ?, or "FRONT TRACTION BAR" ???
when using website CAR-PART.COM, i could'nt even find any results for it, and there was'nt even anything on the drop-down menu matching that part at all either ?
thanks for any input

Go get one at Pick and Pull. There's three in Dallas. You can even look up inventory online. Seems like half the yard is Hondas. I think they run around $25.

alright, thanks, just had to confirm what it supposed to be called, so when searching i make sure i get all the results i can, using all the terms the part is named by.
its $361 new at dealer on majestic honda, but thats way too much i definetaly am going to get it at a junkyard, only thing is i have to be carefull and try to look at it to make sure i'm not buying one thats bent up already, and try to get one thats as straight as possible, cause thats the reason i am getting one in the first place (to replace my bent one).

Just look for one that isn't wrecked, or wrecked in the front. Most of the EFs I've seen in there weren't wrecked, just worn out. Rarely see CRXs and Del Sols in there but, once in a while...

StayTunedEf,
is the part you have the OEM one ? and which model is it off of exactly?
is it from a 88, 89, 90, 91, . . . . . . . DX, HF, SI , . . . . . hatch, sedan or CRX ? etc ?
and where are you located ? i am looking around for different ones at the moment but if you could just give some more info about it that would be cool, and i'll keep you in mind, but first i am going to try finding one locally, just so i don't have to pay shipping and i can just go in person and examine it for straightness and just pick it up.
i might even take it by the guy whos going to work on my car at the suspension / frame shop and just see if he thinks the part is ok or bent ? just so i can be sure,
but if i can't find any around here then next step is look on ebay and stuff, and then i'll think of getting the one from you.
thanks
