brakes getting stuck
i installed some brembo blanks and hawk hps pads on my 95 ej2. when they get really hot sometimes they will get stuck not allowing the car to accelerate did i do something wrong
What part of the caliper would cause it to stick like that..
Is there any chance it could be the master cylinder. The brake pedal gets real stiff but if I let it sit for awhile it unstiffens and almost feels too soft

If it's only one caliper sticking it could be a bad proportioning valve, or if your vehicle is abs equipped, a part of the abs systems valving or controller could be f*cked.
If it was a bad seal in the master cylinder you would have no brakes at all.
Is the brake pedal stiff with the car off? If so, that is normal if you pump it a bit. Does the pedal go to the floor at a stop light? When driving would you describe the pedal engagement as high and hard? i.e: the pedal is hard to press, it doesnt go down far, and you have to push on it more so than usual to get the car to stop. These would be symptoms of a bad brake booster as well.
So, I definitly think your calipers are sticking, and your brake booster may be bad. I don't know what an ej2 is, but when searching for calipers for a 1995 civic 1.5L, they are $35 to $40 depending on weather or not you have abs plus a $10 core charge. I'm basing those prices off of raybestos parts because I always prefer raybestos for brake components. You can buy what ever you see fit.

I highly recommend rockauto.com. Great prices, a variety of manufacturers, and fast, reasonable shipping.
Pull the slide pins out of the caliper and clean them, if they are grimy or something that could be your problem, then put them back in with good amount of brake assembly lube.
It's these guys:

If those are fine, check your brake pedal pushrod adjustment, if it is right on the limit the small amount of expansion that happens when your brakes heat up could cause them to drag.
Does it only do this when it is hot? Any other symptoms?
