Default Installed header now Tach, signals and hazards blow

Hey guys, I wanted to mention NEVER buy a header from Ebay, I just got it installed and It heated up hella fast and was spittin oil out of the exaust. So I installed my OEM manifold, now I'm losing compression and with my car started every time with the headlights on (or off in that matter, maybe just because the car is running,) I turn on my Turn signal/hazards, and the fuse blows. Also my dash gauges stop working (same fuse as tail lights.) I am planning on doing a Z6 head swap/OBD0-OBD1 because I'm done with the 88-91 heads, the dam ezaust manifold studs are strippin out, I have bolts in 4 out of 8, So I know for a fact thats not where I'm losing compression. Any insight on this information would be Greatly Appreciated.. Thanks again Honda-Tech

You need to figure out what you messed up when installing the header, as the header itself would not cause anything you describe.

Check everything you touched when you put it in.

I wish that I could put this as my signature. It has to be THE MOST hilarious post I have ever seen. There is Soo much wrong, you can't make that kind of stuff up...

Look, installing a "header" won't cause a single (not even remotely) one of your described problems. Clearly you don't understand how an engine works, because compression stays inside the cylinder. This is where the "bang" is made... The only thing electrical on your exhaust is an O2 sensor - which has absolutley NOTHING to do with the head lights. If you can't even install a "header" properly, what makes you think you can do an OBD conversion AND swap a cylinder head?

Just take it to a mechanic or sell it, that is my "insight".

PS - You made me laugh so much and so hard my sides hurt.

This is a simple fix, the ebay header is grounding out (metal to metal) which is why the fuses keep blowing. It is also likely too big of piping which is why you are lossing oil and compression (syphon effect).
You can fix everything by using a rubber or paper gasket.

Is this for real? I can't tell anymore in this thread ...
And yeah make sure you get the high temp rubber or paper gasket for your exhaust manifold!

Yea, coincidenses are a pain in the ***
work slow when you work on your car and make mental note of everything you touch and think of the effects it can have

Ok guys settle down lol, It's just a coinsidense that all this **** happened. As far as the fuses, I had a crack in my driver turn signal housing and it was shorting out because of the condensation inside. And as far as the exaust problem, I just reset my ECU and cleaned the O2 sensor now i'm good to go. Thanks for all the derogatory statements guys You guys crack me up
