Default registering a real eg6

im looking to buy i real eg6. the guy has the japanese title and the american title. but its not legitly registered. how do i get it registered. or is it even possible anymore because ive heard from people that you cant get it done anymore that you have to have it vin swapped? any info would be helpful

haha well thanks for the help guys. and i found one i was going to buy and the guy say its vin swapped already. so i dont really want it anymore. i was looking into gettin one imported but i heard you wont be able to get it registered.? and why is this thats stupid if you cant get them registered.

Though I might wish some cars from overseas were legal to import and register here, if they haven't passed safety here or the engines aren't legal here or the lighting isn't DOT approved then I see where the government is at least coming from.

At least you can easily replicate an EG6 here using a USDM Civic hatch and an engine swap. The car I'd really want was just plain never available here.

well i have a eg hatch that was converted to rhd but i was looking into getting a real one but not so sure anymore after reading the link you send me lol. i guess ill just wait till there classic cars. wont be to much longer
