Default Help Identifying Screw

I found this little black screw on my drivers side floor mat today after randomly looking down to get something. I can't recall where its from. The last thing I remember doing was removing my door panels and I'm sure this screw wasn't lying here for more than a few weeks.

Let me know your opinion on what this screw might be (fairly certain its a Honda screw)

Definetly does not look like a Honda screw. I have never seen anything like that on mine.

None of the Honda screws have a head like that, they are all flat.

I'd put it in the ashtray, cupholder or coin pocket until the location is found. I"m not sure offhand where it's from in the car. Maybe under the steering column, holding the shroud on?

Found it. Somehow the screw under the steering column closest to the steering wheel loosened itself out.

So 98civdx, not all Honda screws have a flat head. =P

Doesn't necessarily mean it's a Honda screw. I've used random screws from my garage and used them on my center console, cup holder, etc etc.

It kind of looks like the screws used to hold equipment in server racks.

Lol, I'm positive it's Honda. Nothing but OEM bolts/screws/parts are on my car.

It's 36. There's 3 of them. Go check.

I can't think of any flat headed screws that are that color in my '98 Civic or my '88 CRX. They all have truss heads. Pan heads seem to come on some smaller screws and flat heads are super uncommon on Hondas in my experience.

There it is, mcvtec. But the screw is useless since you broke your steering column shroud lol

Years ago I was in the process of removing the steering wheel for a dash swap and put the screws back where the came from.
