Default 95 lx, with d16y7 swap - ecu and harness question

when my car's p.o. swapped the d16y7 he did so without switching the harness or ecu. so my car is running on the harness and ecu from a d15b7. i just got a P2E ecu and harness from a junkyard car.

question is, the ecu and harness are out a auto and my car is a manual. can i still use these pieces?

You can't use them either way. Harness is just flat out different and isn't compatible with a '92 - '95 Civic. ECU will work with a conversion harness, but will throw a bunch of codes for missing sensors. Whoever did the swap did it the right way, but you will need to swap the intake manifold for a D15B7 or D16Z6 one, along with the throttlebody, exhaust manifold from the original engine should have been retained as well.

ok. the car runs fine, i just have a wierd stutter/jerkyness around 1500 rpm. i was thinking this was caused by having the wrong ecu for the motor(i currently have a P06). i also am getting around 25 mpg, seems low.

if i get the conversion harness for the P2E ecu could the missing sensors cause my car to run worse? should i just let it be?

It will.

In terms of not swapping the ECU yes, but you may want to check out some other stuff like the IACV and throttle body to see whats up with your idle, it should run fine setup the way it is.
