So i recently swapped a b16 into my eg and it idles really funny, i've been searching but i still can't figure out, i already cleaned the iacv, and i will be replacing the iacv soon to see if that was the problem? and it only idles like that when its in neutral, any suggestion?

I assume you've checked for vacuum leaks?

 

Does it do that when the car is warmed up?

Check for vacuum leaks like ^he said

 

pull off your intake at the throttle, cover the bottom hole with your finger..if the motor shuts off its not the IACV. that looks like a faulty iacv idle though. another thing you can do is take off the iacv and wire it to a 12v source and see if the pintle is moving properly.

from my experience a vacuum leak will usually create a steady high idle or one that bounces just way slower than that.

 

My idle was doin the same thing until I cleaned my iacv jus wondering wht did u use?? N if its not tht then like ^^ said probably a vac leak if its rollin
