Default F22B2 turbo fuel injection

Ok so is it 440cc or 450cc that come from the 1g dsm that are compatible with the f22 motor. Are these injectors an exact fit to the accord stock fuel rail, will the clips just plug into the injectors or will i need to splice or replace the stock clips with compatilbe ones? Also what is it with the resitor box, what does it do what is it for? I read that accords come with thier own box, but i dont think ill be able to use it for dsm injectors.

I know this is a stupid question but can i use stock injectors for 10psi. (i doubt it) i know ill have to upgrade and the 1g dsm injectors seems to be what most people with a boosted f22 use.

Do i even need the resistor box cant i just have the tuner shop regulate my injectors to idle correctly and inject gas as needed?

If you use low impedance (Peak & Hold) injectors (DSM Blue & black top are P&H) You need to keep the resistor box. The stock Accord injectors are peak and hold, that is why we have the resistor box. High impedance (Saturated) injectors do not use resistors.

I think what you must have read was people swapping there saturated injector systems over to a peak and hold injection system. They put a 10Ohm resistor in the injector wire clip (+) wire. That is for people who don't already have a resistor box.

I wouldn't bother cutting and splicing wires any more than you have to. In your case, you already have a resistor box, so you should keep it if you plan to run P&H DSM injectors.

So I would need 440cc b&b top P&H injectors off a dsm and connect them would my current resistor box need to be modified? can i get these injectors?

Also Are the dsm 440cc b&B p&h a direct fit to the fuel rail/intake manifold?

The DSM injectors that are usually used in boosted builds come in 2 different colours. There are the earlier Blue top injectors and the 1995+ black top injectors. It's not B&B...

They are a direct fit and no modification is required to your resistor box.

oh i got confused i said b&b thinking there was a black and blue top one but its either black or blue.

im a little confused in post #2 you put "The stock Accord injectors are peak and hold, that is why we have the resistor box."

then in post #4 you put "I would assume that the Accord injectors would be Peak and Hold though." so what kind of injectors do stock accords use with f22b2?

I was referring to the link that you posted about buying those venom injectors. I was assuming that the Venom Accord injectors would be peak and hold. Not all injectors that people sell are the same impedance as the chassis your putting them in. Some people get rid of the resistor box and run ID725s or ID1000 injectors, they are saturated. However they still fit the F22.

I know 92-96 H22/H23 Preludes and 90-97 F22A/B Accords are all peak and hold. I've been around log enough... I am using a set of DSM black tops in my build. I did reasearch into all the things that you are asking about a few years back. I have a complete list of OEM injectors, there impedance and flow rates.......

That's why I'm here trying to help you out. If there is anything that you don't understand just ask!

Cheers

That is correct,

Or, you could pick up a set of saturated injectors. Remove the resistor box and wire in some new injector clips. Honestly though, stick to the peak and hold....lol
