Victor X vacuum routing diagram for a turbo set
I have my 97 GSR that i am boosting and I am putting together the Victor X manifold and i am trying to figure out how to set up my vacuum line. Picture would be helpful if possible Thanks
Being more specific would help. Which vacuum line? One the the bov? one to the manual boost controller? Factory vacuum lines? All of the ports are all together on the back of the manifold, just hook them up, it's that simple.
One goes to bov, put a t fitting in that and run it to your MBC. Another goes to the solenoid on the firewall, another to the FPR, etc. Just hook them up, simple as that.

You can always mount the block on the bottom of the manifold. If you do not want to use one, you will need 1 line for each of the following (if you have removed the charcoal canister)
Brake booster
fuel pressure regulator
the solenoid on the firewall (there will be another on if the charcoal canister is still in, I think dc's might have 3 solenoids though, I forget)
blow off valve (if you are going boosted)
As for the wastegate, you can just hook up a vacuum line from the compressor housing (if it has the fitting) to a manual boost controller, out to the wastegate.
And for the boost gauge you can just put a T-piece in any of these vacuum lines and run it to the gauge.
So I would go with 5 to be on the safe side. And even if it ends up not being enough, T off of pretty much any of those hoses.

Sweet thanks for the info... For the charcoal canister do you need that to pass emissions? Cuz the plan was to swap my stock injector and ecu in for when it comes time for inspection and granny the car around
It will not pass visual inspection withough the charcoal canister. It's an EVAP issue, in this case wouldn't cause exhaust emissions to not pass. But like I said, wouldn't pass visual.
Most places that I have seen do inspections though, I do inspections as well, but at the toyota dealership I worked at, hardly anyone even popped the hood during an inspection. So you could either find a lazy old dude that wouldn't know what a charcoal canister was if he saw one, or find someone that will just write you stickers for cost.

You just have to know the right people, luckily for me, I know someone who knows the right people lol for ANYTHING that has wheels, he will get me a hook up for anything me need. Just ask around, like other auto enthusiests, I'm sure you will run into more than one person that has gotten them.
