New to honda-tech and i'm looking for some feedback before I actually start making any unnecessary purchases.lol It's currently turbocharged,And I had a rod start knocking so I had to rebuild it. This car is my daily driver so I decided to start shooting for at least 350-400whp and i'm sure i'll be happy But here we go....

I have a 99 Honda civic with a moderate build/swap (New to the game)...Heres a quick list of what I can think of.

2000 B16a2 head
supertech spings and retainers
supertech dished valves
cometic 82mm headgasket
ITR cams
(considering a port and polish) if funds permit of course...

B18c1 GSR Block w/B16 transmission
Bored .40 over Stock Sleeve-82mm Wiseco pistons
Eagle H Beam Rods
ARP headstuds
ACL race Bearings

Borg Warner-t3/t4 Turbo with B housing(feedback will determine what turbo upgrade I choose...Looking at either the precision 6262 journal bearing or Silver Surfer Reaper turbo)
Blox Cast Iron Manifold(possible change to Ramhorn)
Tial 38mm Wastegate-10psi spring
1000cc Precision Injectors
ebay Intercooler and piping(yuck!) Will swap out as well.

AEM Y Band
Autometer Boost Gauge
***Tuned on Hondata S300-Last it was tuned it made 280whp/175 torque with exhaust leaks and a weak cylinder..3rd was pretty low...hence the rebuild and headwork****
***Currently running Open down pipe but just ordered a 3" exhaust from K Teller...I hated smelling like gas everywhere I went!!!!***Should be here Tuesday.

I'm really looking forward to this build ....so any input or feedback at all will go along way. So what suggestions on a turbo do you guys have and with the setup that I have..does this sound achieveable?(spelling?) Also any dyno charts with a similar setup running a precision 6262, Silver Surfer Reaper or with the power that i'm looking for would be grand. Thank you for your time on this thread.

that much power might be hard to make on pump gas with that crappy manifold

 

I figured as such...thats what this thread is for...feedback and what suggestions someone may have to achieve what i'm looking for.

Not someone just saying how crappy my manifold is.... JUST SAYING.

 

Are you looking at the Silver Surfer? or Reaper turbo? They are separate systems? Ah.. Nevermind. I received your PM.. we'll talk.

ahh, got ya...didn't know that...some folks online were putting it altogether..well Hit me when u can TheShodan. The car is in the shop as we speak and i'm looking into a new turbo/manifold setup relatively soon..subject to pricing, but i'm semi new to FI...so any input is appreciated! hear from ya soon. I'll vouch and say the Silver Surfer is EXCELLENT and extremely good value for money. About the build... Don't even think about running stock sleeves at 82mm. Replace them with a set of Dartons if your thinking about 82mm.

 

yea, spend the $ on a new turbo manifold....that will make the biggest difference on the parts you listed.
