How to install manual steering rack in 94 del sol?
it's easier to convert the power rack to manual, and you have a faster gear ratio. You need to either cut two of the lines and loop them together after flaring one to make a sort of barb fitting, or remove two lines and use metric to AN adapter fittings. I think the fittings are 14mm x 1.5 and 16mm x 1.5, but check first.
To remove the rack, you pretty much have to either pull the motor or the subframe with a power rack, or so I have read. Other than that, just unbolt the universal joint on the column, the two bolts on the drivers side, the D bracket on the passenger side, and pop the two tie rod ends off.

Thanks guys but i'm not talking about the loop mod. I already have a manual rack and I believe it is going bad. The car darts from the left and right when cruising. I need a write up on how to remove and then install the new rack. TIA
