What's up everybody, I'm picking up a pair of JDM DC2 front Recaro seats. I'm planning on mounting them in my '99 SI the correct way with all 4 bolts fastening them down. I'm looking for some seat rails that will give me a lower seating position along with mount correctly with these seats. I know Vision made some years ago but can't seem to find anybody who sells them now. Anybody know of any companies making a rail that will work for me? Any info would be great , thanks.

Shouldn't the Civic hardware bolt up? I swapped DC2 seats into my Civic last year and all I had to do was use the rails on my Civic seats.

 

corbeau makes brackets for just about everything. Try looking there.

Bride RO rails will bolt up to the Recaro and will fit your model. They are about $200 a side.

 

you can't bolt the stock usdm seat rails to a recaro the base's are different i don't think ctr rails would sit any lower then the dc2 rails but at least a 4 holes would line up

 

you can get a shop to fab u up custom rails from ur stock seats but if u want OEM contact Recaro or Bride like they said

 

EK9 rails will bolt right up but they are not low posititioned. dc2,dc5, will not work on our 99-00 Si's. you can go with buddy club, vision, ect. or if you are looking to throw away money get a nice pair of mugen's. i personally opted for custom fabricating a set that way i can customize positioning and stance to my liking, height, etc...

 

can i use my stock seat civic rail fit on my red recaro? cause i bought red recaro but it has DELSOL rails

 

no and delsol rails should not of fit ethier.

 

No typical OEM rails will work. They have to be recaro specific or something similar.

Many brands will work, buddy club, bride, recaro, corbeau, they just need to be bottom mounting rails.

There's even a vendor that makes knockoffs for pretty cheap in the marketplace somewhere.
