Default What to run with a blockgaurd setup?

I'm tryin to figure out what block I should build for boost on a blockgaurd setup?... A gsr or ls? Let me know what y'all think

Are you planning on using stock internals? I would go with GSR for better rod/stroke. Rods are better, and compression is a little better, since you are not going to be running a crazy amount of boost, gsr comp ratio is perfect.

And really there is no need for a block guard.

I'm gonna do the whole shabang lol but that's how I bought the car.. It had lower comp pistons and it cracked a sleeve while it was getting tuned.. Now I don't know what to start with

Just my thoughts. Ive heard horror stories about block guards actually making things worse. Ive never personally used one, but there are lots of reviews that you should probably look into and make an opinion for yourself. As for ls vs gsr, i would have to say gsr again for the rs ratio. But again thats my opinion because im a rev *****

blockguard is not going to save you from cracking a sleeve.

Block guards actually put more stress on the sleeves, in different spots becaue not every casting on the back of a sleeve is the same, so you will have high and low spots, those high spots is where the block guard is gonna cause a lot of stress. NOT GOOD!
