Default how much horsepower can these blocks handle

ive done the reasearch before but ive forgot...

i was wondering what block to go with for my boost setup.

im wanting to know how much power an ls shortblock can handle with low compression pistons and rods and im also wanting to know how much power a gsr shortblock will handle with pistons and rods also...

when i did my searching a long time ago i believe the gsr block itself would hold more power but i would like everyones experience/opinion

thanks for all the help and sorry if im in the wrong section

i knew he said 350 but u dont understand what im saying... i asked how much a gsr and a ls BLOCK can hold with built internals... how much can a gsr hold and how much can an ls hold...

i know for a fact that both can hold more than 350 and he never said what engine he was talking about

A safe bet would be 600. That is streching the limits and with a really good tuner behind it. But that doest mean you could go daily it on hight boost.

Hmm, so if you did your research a long time ago then you either got banned or forgot the password to your other account. Either way.........

1) Your original question was a bit vague, that's why you recieved the response you did.
2) If you searched before you would know that there is no direct answer. Some have gone to 600whp on stock sleeves and some only to 450whp on stock sleeves and some can't break 400whp. There is by the way a "highest hp on stock sleeves" thread. I'm sorry but that thread is all to pertinant to your question. Perhaps you should take the time to read through it.
3) If you are asking a question about something like this you shouldn't feel the need to get snippy when someone answers in an attempt to be helpful.
4) I'm in a good mood today because I got a $4k bonus from work, another $4k back from the fed and the general tone of my post reflects this. If I was broke I would make your eyeballs bleed by reading my response!!!!

GL.

thank u... only reason i got snippy is i would rather have a post like yours or a post with more than one word in it that actually tells me something... its like asking 2 yes/no questions and someone responding only "yes" in there post.. and when i did the reasearch i didnt have an account i was just searching through websites and ****..

thanks again
