my wiper motor was not working in my 93 eg civic coupe ex i got one out of the junkyard out of a eg hatch and its completly diferent i think the hatch was a dx they look completly diferent but i was wondering if i can still use it

Have u resolve your wiper motor problem? Did u try installing that motor into your 93 eg?

 

He just posted 30 minutes ago...I doubt he's fixed it yet.

 

I hope you made sure that the problem is in the motor itself. The switch can also be an issue, as can other wiring.

Just looking at the 1993 Civic EX coupe on HondaPartsDeals.com, it appears there are two different wiper set ups: the Mitsuba and the Delco.

The following pics are remanufactured items from Cardone, but the pics are decent examples anyway.

They don't look like they have the same mounting points to me...
