Buddy of mine is selling a b16b with a very nice head on it, but he said that the block has a b16a crank in it. I was wondering of that would affect the performance or reliability of the b16b block, he explained what the difference was between the 2 cranks and said it was ok to drive anyone know if this is true?

 

The b16b crank is heavier and the rod bearings are a different size

 

So does that mean it will affect reliability?

Has toda cams after market springs and retainers toda cam gears...

 

No won't affect reliability unless your reving it out like crazy..the b16b crank can handle higher rpms
